Important notice: It is not possible to have two different valid Russian visas in your passport at one time. The consulate will invalidate the first visa in order to authorize the new, second one.
The application form has to be filled in online. Before doing so, you will need to have to hand: your passport details; the details of any universities or other higher education establishments you have ever attended; the name and details of the Russian organisation which has invited you; (you may want to contact us first if you are not sure where to look on the paperwork, or if it is all in Russian); the name of your travel insurance provider, a list of all countries you have visited in the last 10 years (the best way to address this is to go through all the stamps/visas in your passport).
After clicking through to the form below, please click agree on the first screen and continue, and the same on the second one. Then click Create Online Visa Application. On the next page, there are five questions, please answer

Your email address
On the next page, please select Tourist as the type of passport. For purpose of visit, select Business. For the duration, please select according to your invitation. The number of entries should also match your invitation, as should the dates of travel.
You must answer every question; NA is no longer acceptable. For instance, "I haven't attended any educational institutions", if that is the case. Other tips: the form won’t accept any spaces in phone number boxes; it also won’t accept any hyphens or apostrophes.
After finishing entering the required information, choose yes or no as to whether you want to enter another application and continue. On the next screen, click "Agree" and continue. On the next screen, it is advisable to make a note of the "Web Reference No". On the next screen, choose "download/print" and the same on the one after that.
If you have any problems with the form, or your printer runs out of ink, or anything else, please contact us as everything is solvable.
